I work with gay men and adults navigating anxiety, depression, identity, and relationships.
You don’t have to have it all figured out. Therapy gives you space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with who you are and what matters to you.
My style is collaborative and affirming—a space for all parts of you, including the ones you’ve had to hide.
I meet you where you are—and we go from there.
Meet Alex
I’m a dual-licensed therapist in Los Angeles — a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) — and the founder of Stride Counseling.
I work with adults, especially gay men, navigating anxiety, burnout, identity, relationships, and life transitions. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or just not like yourself, therapy can help you make sense of it — and move forward.
Stride Counseling is the space I built for people like you — therapy that’s honest, affirming, and gives you room to figure things out without having to explain the basics.
Therapy that meets you where you are.
Life can feel like a lot sometimes — especially when you're anxious, burned out, or just trying to keep it together. You don’t have to be at your limit to know that some changes need to occur.
I work with adults and couples navigating identity, stress, and relationship challenges — people who are tired of pretending everything’s fine and ready for something real.
Therapy gives you space to slow down, feel seen, and make sense of what’s been heavy — without having to explain away who you are.
Clients come to me for clarity, healing, and connection. Together, we create space to understand what’s been heavy and figure out what’s next.

If you’re curious about how I work or want to see if we’re a good fit, let’s connect.
